Freedom of expression cannot be without freedom of life. Without life there can be no expression. An expression is the bane of our existence as humans. It is what makes our lives the way it is. How we choose to express ourselves daily is how we choose to live. A Person is robbed of their individuality when people expect them to be like everyone else.

The ability to express oneself is awesome. ​


You should not be afraid to express your thoughts, your desires, your struggles, and most importantly – your values. Your expression gives you character- it is what defines your personality and makes you stand out.

Expressing yourself through Art
Art is a powerful tool of communication which has a unique ability to go beyond cultural and societal boundaries. It is a distinct exploration of humanness.


Art can be basic or intricate; it is one of the first forms of human expression, and till date, remains rooted in the tools of transformation.
It can resist rebellion; act as a tool of protest, and give hope. Also, it can be used to ignite conversations; it can bring subjects into the knowledge of the public, expose abuses, and serve as a voice.


Expressing yourself through fashion
If a person has the freedom to express themselves, this would include being free to express themselves through their sense of style – this, defining fashion to suit their tastes. Unless you work or live somewhere in an environment that strictly enforces a dress code, you should be free to express yourself both personally and professionally through the kind of clothing you decide to wear.


Finding your style is all about confidence and the willingness to be express them through fashion. Fashion is more than just pulling on clothes. Fashion is art. Fashion is expression. When you see clothes, you should express yourself through them and interpret everything into it.


Expressing yourself through spirituality 
People express their spiritualities in different ways and for various reasons. As an individual, you may prefer to express your spirituality through religion like Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, or Judaism. You can also choose to express your spirituality in other ways like humanism, environmentalism, or social activities.


Whatever you choose, it is still a form of expression. What you are doing is expressing yourself and asking the world questions about the connectedness which we live in the world.

Music always helps us express an emotion; we find it hard to verbalize. Our favorite lyricists get us hooked with lyrics that have powerful messages and tunes that hit us in the deepest places. This is a deep form of expression.
In tough life moments, music is an excellent way to express who you are and what you are feeling as an individual.


Expressing yourself through culture 
Culture informs and provides an avenue for self-expression and growth. Expressing one’s culture highlights the important parts of a person’s identity. Through cultural expression, we get to appreciate the aspects of culture that builds self-acceptance. Artistic expression aids a better understanding of how we are alike and different from each other.


Be expressive. Set goals and go for it! Do something you wouldn’t normally do, try new things. Be the most expressive person you know. Let others see that life truly is worth living just by showing them through how expressive you are.
